HISTORY

MTS was established in 1975 under the name of Saleh Al Rajhi Bolts & Nuts Est. with 3 showrooms. AK Al Muhaidib & Sons acquired it in 2004 and changed its name to Al Muhaidib Technical Supplies. In 2006 MTS gained its ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 quality certificates. A 2nd acquisition was concluded in 2007 where MTS acquired a local Fastener’s Fabrication Services Unit under the name of Munther Ibrahim Technical Services. MTS started to have the capabilities to Fabricate, Service & Coat customized Fasteners. By that time, MTS had 8 showrooms. A 3rd acquisition was concluded in 2008 where MTS acquired Saudi Bea Studbolt Factory in Dammam, by that time MTS has become Aramco approved vendor. During the same year, MTS started its media campaign and participated in exhibitions and was awarded in Saudi Fast Growth 100 companies. In 2010 MTS acquired Abdul Wahab Kutbi & Bros. Co. who specializes in Fasteners & Fixings in the western region of Saudi Arabia and operates 7 showrooms. By the end of 2011, MTS Group opened its 13th showroom. In 2014, AK Al Muhaidib & Sons Holding merged its Building Materials Sector under the name of Masdar, and MTS name was changed to Masdar Technical Supplies, by the end of the same year, MTS Group was managing 25 showrooms.
